The transcription service that analyses your audio runs on Modal Labs, Inc. in the United States. What is sent there, and for how long it is kept, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual property
The Meloclip name, logo, interface, texts, visuals and code are the exclusive property of CROLAB or its partners, and are protected by intellectual property law. Reproducing, representing or distributing them, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.
This does not apply to the music you import: those recordings remain the property of their rights holders, and importing them is your responsibility. See the Terms of Use.
Personal data
Under the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, erase and port your personal data, to restrict its processing and to object to it. Write to support@meloclip.app to exercise those rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French supervisory authority (cnil.fr). Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Not a musical authority
Meloclip produces an automatic estimate of the notes played in a recording. It is a practice and visualisation tool, not an authoritative transcription, and it must not be presented as a composer's original notation.
Subscriptions and refunds
Meloclip Pro is sold through the App Store. Payment, renewal and refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms — CROLAB cannot issue a refund itself. Subscription terms are set out in the Terms of Use.
Governing law
This notice is governed by French law. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the French courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
